It is with great pleasure that we announce that Book Week is just around the corner. It is going to be a full week dedicated to the pleasure of reading. Our theme will be “Unlikely Heroes” – celebrating non conventional book heroes who inspire us.

  DAY 1 – TUESDAY, APRIL 10TH

 

WHAT Mystery Reader

Knock! Knock! Welcome in your mysterious reader and enjoy a good read aloud

From No!David to Scrooge, from Ulysses to Percy Jackson, …. come to school dressed up as your favorite Kickside, Villain, Hero or Unlikely Hero!

A page-turning race relay for unique readers

WHAT Author Visit

Mrs Cassandra Wye will perform multi-sensorial storytelling sessions. “Unlikely Heroes in Unusual Places” for Pre K and Elementary School

“Dangerous Dilemmas and Difficult Decisions” – for Middle and Senior school

WHAT Rock and Read – Folktales for Everyday Heroes

A rocking chair and a cozy spot in the Library where you can read and listen to your chosen book

Please note that troughout all Book Week, there will be a Book Exchange Shelf downstairs near the entrance, where you can swap books.

The idea is to make books go around the world: you bring one book, you take one book. All languages are welcome!
