We are extremely pleased to inform you that on Monday, January 15th Maestro Steven Isserlis will come to our school to meet some of our students. He was kind enough to fit us in his schedule from 2:45 – 3:30.
Maestro Isserlis CBE  is a world famous cellist, educator  and author of the music books about the lives of the great composers. The recipient of many awards, Steven Isserlis’s honours include a CBE in recognition of his services to music, and the Schumann Prize of the City of Zwickau. He is also one of only two living cellists featured in Gramophone’s Hall of Fame.
Over the past few years here at ISG we have been reading and studying his books and have thoroughly enjoyed them.
Since on Monday evening he will be performing at the Carlo Felice, he has agreed to take time out of his day to come to our school.
